“Renaissance Moments” are developments and events that support the notion that Milwaukee is on the edge of a “evolutionary breakthrough,” i.e. a rebirth or…renaissance! There is a part of my wanting to talk of a “Milwaukee Revolution,” because I sincerely believe we are entering into some kind of social drama that will fundamentally change the way in which we live with one another, from the way we make our living, educate our young, relate to our neighborhoods, make and partake of “culture.” You are invited to offer your thoughts as to “renaissance” or “revolutionary” moments in Milwaukee society over the past 30 years.
