Welcome to the Graf Family Mini-Website

These pages began with Bob Graf’s ‘Diary of a Worm’s Life in a Home Growing Power Box’. Inspired by what they saw on a tour of Will Allen’s Growing Power farm, Bob and his wife, their son, and a family friend constructed a home-based version of the Growing Power system in the sun-room of their home. As the seasons change, the focus shifts between the Growing Power backyard garden and the evolving Growing Power Home Garden Project Box in the sun-room.

In his online journal, here on MilwaukeeRenaissance.com, Bob has been recording daily reflections on the progress of these experiments, mixed with his observations about life, peace, justice, faith, family, community and friends.

Peter has added an area with some of his artwork. Also find links below, and on the sidebar, to a page for Bob’s April, 2006 pilgrimage to Guatemala, to Bob’s monthly newsletter called “Living Stones” (published by the Hope To Healing website), to a gallery of Bob’s photographs, to pages for Ella’s Patch Quilts, one about the Mothers Against Gun Violence to a page started by Bob’s grandchildren — “Graf Kids” — and now a new page called “The Milwaukee 14 Today”. “Wonderful Links” to other pages of interest are on the sidebar, too. — Bob

These pages began with Bob Graf’s ‘Diary of a Worm’s Life in a Home Growing Power Box’. Inspired by what they saw on a tour of Will Allen’s Growing Power farm, Bob and his wife, their son, and a family friend constructed a home-based version of the Growing Power system in the Sun Room of their home. In the summer, the focus shifted to the Growing Power backyard garden, and now that it’s winter, the project has moved back into the Sun-room, in Growing Power Home Garden Project Box version 2.0. Bob has been recording daily reflections on the progress of these experiments, mixed with his observations about life, politics, faith, family, community and friends in his online journal, here on MilwaukeeRenaissance.com.

Peter has added an area with some of his artwork (see the sidebar). Also find below, and linked-to from the sidebar, a page for Bob’s April, 2006 pilgrimage to Guatemala. You can also find a link on the sidebar to Bob’s monthly newsletter called “Living Stones”, which is published by the Hope To Healing Web site. — Bob
