Inspired by the Poem of Confucius
A translation/interpretation

Life is a winding path

	There – it curves
There – it runs straight again.

When two souls meet on the path
and understand each other in their inmost hearts

There - thoughts flow freely in words
There - the heavy burdens are lifted
There - intentions fly like eagles,
                destiny is met,
the strength of bronze and iron is shattered,
words are sweet and strong like the fragrance of wild orchids,
                and even death is overcome.

When two souls meet on the path
and understand each other in their inmost hearts.
