__,
I am working with Tom Schmitt to prepare the way for the construction of “urban village hamlets” in many historic Milwaukee neighborhoods.
One key feature of these homes, building, city farms, and work stations for artists, artisans, knowledge workers, and general workers will be state of the art accessibility features.
Tom is an engineer and founder of the Accessibility Warriors yahoo group who has a vision of himself or partners coordinating a house that will also serve as a youth, elder, and creative working class hostel in Riverwest, Brewers Hill, or Harambe.
Here is a broad vision laid out to stimulate brainstorming and development of the project:

I am using “babel fish” to translate these concepts into Spanish first, other languages later, to expand the potential geographic and cultural boundaries of the urban village hamlet and city farm project.
I am now on the Board of Growing Power, hoping to inspire Growing Power demonstration city farms at some or all of the hamlets we eventually help create.

What say?
Clear sailing,
