Bio Brief

Changed line 9 from:

You have done good work for the good cause and there are people from all over who will enjoy hearing your story and that of your allies. We hope to spark your becoming your own “wiki web master,” learning new skills as the months and years go by, until this becomes the path to your first major electronic and perhaps “hard copy” publication.

Iím a year-round biking commuter finding thatís the best way to get around without the hassle of parking, or of waiting for the buses that never seems to arrive! Iím a native Milwaukeean, leaving only between í55 and í60 when I served aboard a destroyer in the US Navy, an experience that taught me the basics of what became my career, and which satisfied (partially) my hunger for travel which Iíve had since seeing my first maps!

Changed line 11 from:

If you would prefer to only concentrate on your writing for the “Journal,” send them my way and we’ll talk about which article would be sent out for which month, hopefully all months. If you’d like to inch your way toward this resource, where you would become your own wiki master, read on!

After service I studied electrical engineering at MU while working at night as a technician on test equipment for missile systems at what was then AC Spark Plug., and then in corporate research at A. O. Smith where I stayed for some nineteen years. During that time I earned my masters degree in electrical engineering at UW-M.

In í81 I started teaching at MSOE in the evening, and continued that while working for AB (Rockwell Automation) between í84 and í98 when I retired from Rockwell and started teaching full-time as a retirement job!

Changed line 15 from:

A page will appear for you to cut and paste or compose on right there.

to:

My wife and I were long active in environmental groups, including volunteer land steward work at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, prairie and woodlands restoration in Glendale, and have been active in the Milwaukee County Conservation Coalition (MCCC). It was through MCCC that I became involved with Preserve Our Parks and with the Park People, organizations dedicated to preserving and protecting our parks from everything from invasive species to short-sighted politicians who would sell off our remaining green space for the sake of an ephemeral balanced budget!

Deleted lines 16-24:

When you have finished, being sure to never indent, use “*” for bullet points and “#” for numbers, go to the bottom of the page and click “submit.”

Look at the finished product. If you wish to make further changes, to to the top of the page again to “edit,” and follow the same process.

Feel free to call me at 232 1336 if you have questions. I am working to create a situation where self managed web pages are as much a birthright as literacy.

Clear sailing,

Godsil
