Big Will Allen Tour

The first visit by Portland partners to this collaboration was at Will Allen’s Growing Power City Farm in Milwaukee, 55th & Silver Spring. Here Will is showing folks his hoop house chicken barn, which is warmed by the body heat of the chickens!

City Repair Project: Village Building Convergence

“The Village Building Convergence,” says Gabrielle Zaffiro, “aims to
have places for neighbors to gather, for people to slow down while
bicycling, to feel comfortable relaxing and sharing space and stories
while going about their city rounds.

There are kiosks, some have tea offerings. Others have glasswork and
metal architectural art to enjoy.
