Bridie Wines Godsil to the Factory 4a.m., November 1, 2006

Today, November 1, 2006, marks the day Bridie Wines Godsil went to work at a 12 hour shift at “some factory in Brookfield.” She and a friend signed on for the 4:30 bus at the temp service center on around 9th & Burnham. I’ll have the details, I hope, as the story unfolds.

In the way that I pray, I pray that Bridie has a good experience in her first factory experience. My grandmother Mary Duncan worked in a Glasgow Scotland textile factory for half the day when 10 years old, the other half day at school.

Her is some of Bridie’s story.
