On behalf of Marquette University and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center VANAP, I would like to invite you to participate in our 2016 Veteran’s Conference titled,

“Embracing Change From Soldier to Civilian: Veterans Transition to Accessing Care and Services”

The purpose of the conference is to enhance the well-being of Veterans and their family members. Our goal is to engage in active dialogue on how we as a community can address the healthcare needs of Veterans and their families.

The 2016 conference topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Connecting Veterans to both VA services and community resources.

  • Homelessness and Veterans

  • Trauma care for Veterans.

  • Domestic violence and Veterans.

  • Residential treatment for Veterans both at the VA and in the community.

  • Alternative medical treatments

  • Animal companions in the Recovery process.

  • Veterans and the legal system.

  • Mental health treatment for families and children of Veterans.

  • Outpatient treatment for Veterans at the VA and in the community.

The conference is FREE of charge, includes breakfast and lunch, and will be held at Marquette University. Parking is $5 (cash); parking reimbursement receipts will be available.
