The East-West BRT would provide real access to jobs and destinations for more people, and could spur sustainable and inclusive economic development and job growth, creating more vibrant neighborhoods — as it has is communities across the United States.

BRT is quick, convenient, reliable and affordable for drivers and non-drivers, and uses tax dollars wisely by expanding mobility and relieving local traffic without widening roads.

BRT provides travel times competitive with driving by using special features such as pre-boarding ticketing, dedicated lanes, and raised platforms to make boarding quick and accessible. Shorter trip times mean more jobs, healthcare, and services are within reach.

BRT would be an investment in creating the planned spine of a clean, safe, accessible, and inclusive transportation system in metro Milwaukee.

Join me at the Open House on May 18th at 5PM to learn more and speak out in favor of better transportation. Your ideas are important!
