President Donald Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos support school choice, and have signaled they want to expand privately managed schools that operate apart from districts.

Milwaukee offers more publicly funded school “choices” than most cities nationwide. What lessons can the rest of the country learn from Milwaukee? And from Wisconsin, which has a growing statewide voucher program?

Come hear local educators and students who have experienced both sides of Milwaukee’s educational divide discuss how national and local political decisions could play out in schools.

Free event but tickets are required. This event will be recorded for broadcast.
