Our 2nd Citizen Action Organizing Cooperative Assembly was a huge success! Thanks to all our members and friends who attended, presented, and helped to make it such a fun event!

I’ll fill you in on some of the details from last Saturday in a little bit, but first take a second to check out some of these amazing photos that member-owners Beth Ludeman and Paul Trotter took at the Assembly! (If you cannot view the images, click here to view them on the Co-op webpage, or here to see them posted to our Facebook group)

Can you believe it? Our innovative new Organizing Co-op is only 4 months old, and we’ve already held 31 events and trainings, including:

7 house parties throughout the greater Milwaukee area

5 trainings, including getting certified to register voters in Milwaukee, how to set up your own issue team with the Co-op, and more!

4 large, all member events, inc big event with Russ Feingold

13 issue team meetings, inc Voting Rights, Healthcare, Milwaukee Media Market, Youth and Education, and more!

1 press conference with Congresswoman Gwen Moore

1 educational presentation to community on the high cost of Healthcare in Milwaukee

WOW! If that’s what we can do in our first 4 months, I can’t wait to find out what Co-op members will accomplish in the next 4 months!

Looking towards the future, here’s what’s coming up at the Citizen Action Organizing Cooperative:

Please RSVP for ALL events you plan to attend! It helps us know who to contact if locations or plans change!
