Final Days

We are now in the final days of making a decision that will affect all our lives. Have we carefully considered what has gone before us. Have we considered what might happen to this once proud country if we make the wrong decision?

Are you familiar with the Declaration of Independence?  No, have you really read it?  Do you remember why our founders wrote it? Of course, it was because they were living under the tyranny of a colonial ruler and it was time to separate themselves from a government that was oppressive and was not working well for the governed.  Let me remind you what it says!

In making their decision to separate from colonial rule the founders wrote:
“…we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men (and women) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.  That to secure these Rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that when any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their security and happiness….”

It has become evident that we the governed are now living under a government (include the 1%) that is no longer following the needs and dictates of those who elected them, the governed!  Hasn’t it become evident that the time has arrived where the government needs to be altered or abolished?  It is now time for the people, the governed, to rise up and form a new government, not through the coming election process, but by forceful demonstrations! It is time for all of the 99%, tens of millions of citizens, to join the occupying movements around the country to create a peaceful, forceful, non-violent revolution!  Occupy the villages, towns, cities and bring commerce and government to a halt!  It is time to come together and do what we can do for our freedom!

As I write this I am battling an end-of-life disease. In my mind, there is no sadness surrounding my current condition.  I have lived a long, wonderful life and have had many rewarding experiences.  I pass my task on to those who can carry on and know that I will be leaving it in capable and loving hands.

If enough of us are willing to be lightbearers, there can be a quantum change.

I do not expect I will be around to witness a great change in this country, but I would like to think that what I have had to say here might stir some minds and bring about a rise in revolutionary thinking. I would like to depart this life knowing that those loved ones and friends I leave behind will be able to experience the freedoms upon which this country was founded.
