It’s Time To draw The line In The Shifty Political Sand Pit.

by Eugene Barufkin - Wisconsin Institute For Progressive Polities

Seems the DNC is still not listening well.

How many people must say: It’s “Bernie, or Bust the DNC,” before they understand our message?

If Bernie is not on national ballots, I will NOT cast a vote for any person for president.*

The DNC and chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did bow to mass public pressure and expanded the number of sanctioned debates. So we know they are listening, a little. Let’s use this as absolute proof that we can show them, permanently, that when they screw us, we multiply.

The media’s treatment of the left have not been much different. During the first weekend in March plus a few days, at best Democrats may have gotten 15% of the “news” air time. It seemed that the clowning by the GOP buffoons was planned to divert air time from important issues to entertainment with sexual content.

— I will work my ass off for Feingold to help get the senate back and protect the Supreme Court. But I will NOT support a political machine. I will only support candidates I have good deep feelings for.

— The political machines need to finally get the message from the people. We must always be able say, and weight our opinion with numbers: “We do not want your candidate, we want to make the choices.”

Primaries should always be open and every candidate treated with respect on the same playing field, equally.

The whole electoral system at this point is chaotic, aided by polling and media pundits painting pictures, too often too quickly, without deep reflection. An example is a lack of factual reporting of candidates’ economic proposals. This vitally important issue area, like others, needs more precise candidate balanced reporting, as noted in Daily Kos: “For corporate and Wall Street interests, the real enemy is Bernie Sanders. The difference between the remainder of the presidential contenders, both Democrat and Republican in terms of economic policy, is miniscule. None of the others constitute a threat to corporate greed and reckless speculation by behemoth banks with market shares beyond their pre-2007 levels.

“Thus, the headlines deceive the reader while the objective conditions of the Super Tuesday elections were anything but unfavorable for Sanders.

“(Clearly) it is now possible to envision a potential path to victory for Sanders, while it is becoming increasingly apparent that Hillary can only win with the help of the media and superdelegates.”

~ Lets no longer accept the standard party request that we should wait until next time, because this time it’s more important to bla bla bla bla.

Dear DNC,
FOR 78 YEARS I HAVE NOT BEEN FOR SALE AND NEVER WILL BE. NEVER TAKE ME FOR GRANTED, I’M A REAL PROGRESSIVE WITH WIDE OPEN EYES AND EARS.

Who is joining me?

* With gross low presidential vote totals, we can show our displeasure with the much too highly structured two party system.
