Mental Health Task Force Update

The Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force has developed recommendations to address our concerns regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Dontre Hamilton, as well the challenges Dontre and his family experienced navigating the mental health and housing service delivery system, and accessing medication and other services.

At our last meeting we discussed some of the community meetings underway to advance justice for Dontre. Thanks to Marilyn Walczak for sharing the information below regarding a September 30th gathering at Red Arrow Park, sponsored by the Coalition for Justice, a new coalition established by the family of Dontre Hamilton.
