Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force – March 13th meeting

Please join us for the March meeting of the Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force, Tuesday, March 13, from 3 – 5 PM at IndependenceFirst, 540 S. 1st St.

The agenda will include the following:

  • The Milwaukee Crisis Resource Centers are celebrating their 10th year of service. Dan Baker, Director of Crisis Services for Whole Health Clinical Group will provide an update. A great opportunity to learn about the work of the CRCs!

  • Something to Think About: Mass Murder’s effects on community and the role of mental health practitioners, Pardeep Kaleka

  • Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division and WRAP will provide an update on substance abuse treatment services

  • Milwaukee County BHD budget – plan to attend the March 22nd Mental Health Board meet to share your budget priorities: 4:30 PM at Washington Park, 4420 W. Vliet.

  • April 3rd Spring election

  • SSI Medicaid Managed Care expands to 12,000 people in Milwaukee.

  • Arrive early to allow time for parking,
