MILWAUKEE – On Saturday, July 18 at 1:00 PM CT, Corner of 17th & Vilet, south/east corner of Martin L. King Park, taxpayers of Milwaukee and Milwaukee county will call on Milwaukee County Economic and Community Development Committee, Milwaukee Common Council and the state representatives to weigh in on the side of leadership and stewardship by slowing down the 9.8 acres of land use transfer for Herd LLC – NBA Bucks Park East development and massive approval of the Park East TID because the present master plan has thrown the taxpayers under the bus.

There are no real entrepreneurial, employment enhancements, infrastructural and anchor benefits in place with specificity in the design and construction of the Arena, 4-phase proposed Park East development, 10–15 year construction and ultimate 24 acres of land transfer that justify the 30-year commitment for the taxpayers of the city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.

The Milwaukee County Economic and Community Development committee is scheduled to meet and vote on Monday, July 20, 2015 for the Park East blocks 1, 2, 4 and 7 and the Common Council will meet on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.
