Disability Advocacy Day is March 20th – Register Now!

A reminder to register for Wisconsin’s Disability Advocacy Day which is Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Madison. Make sure your voice is heard! Disability Advocacy Day is designed to connect you with your legislators to share how legislative policies and programs affect you.

  • Join the disability community from across the state for a great day of advocacy!

  • Attend a morning briefing at Monona Terrace on advocacy priorities for the disability community, including transportation, Medicaid, mental health, education, Family Care and IRIS, employment, and more.

  • Rally at the Capitol, followed by meetings with your State Assembly Representative and Senator or their legislative aides.

  • Registration is required – the deadline is March 9th. You may register with the attached form, or online at http://www.survivalcoalitionwi.org/
    • You can register for a free bus from Milwaukee but it is filling up quickly!
To reserve a spot on the bus, RSVP to Megan at Life Navigators by March 2 at 414–774–6255.
Megan can also assist you with registration for Disability Advocacy. Thanks to Life Navigators for their great partnership – see attached for details.
