The Dryhootch Wisconsin Warrior Summit is a regional conference designed to bring together veterans, their families, clinical providers, and others from the community interested in ensuring US military service personnel — active duty and veterans — receive everything they need for a productive life and transition to the civilian world.

This year we have the distinct pleasure of more deeply integrating the conference with research and clinical activities, bridging between a wide variety of perspectives on veteran care.

The conference theme for this year is: Veteran Collaborative Research & Clinical Innovation: A Joint Mission for Community, Clinicians and Scholars

  • Immersive military experience for clinicians/researchers, led by US military veterans and active duty personnel;

  • Panel discussion on the experiences of veterans on college campuses and best practices for outreach to student veterans;

  • Using photovoice technique to illuminate and raise awareness about the veteran experience;

  • Collaborative veteran/scholar/clinician research efforts from local and national VA (Veteran Administration) and civilian hospital teams.

We will also concurrently offer the Veteran Health & Wellness Expo at the same location, sponsored by the WI Veterans Chamber of Commerce. This event will feature businesses and non-profits providing specialized services or information to veterans. If your organization is interested in having a resource/information table at the event, please register here:
