Nurturing Diversity seeks Community Dialogue Facilitators, offers training

Reggie Jackson and Dr. Fran Kaplan are looking for candidates to join our Community Dialogue Facilitator Corps.

As you may know, we do public history and racial equity programming for community and faith organizations, government bodies, and businesses in the Greater Milwaukee Metro area and around Wisconsin.

Among our services, we offer “deep dives.” These are facilitated small group dialogues structured to build relationships and a sense of community, and to safely support frank conversation about race and racism. We train and contract with a diverse group of community members to help us provide this service. Right now we are especially, though not exclusively, focused on recruiting African Americans, other people of color, and youth.

We’ll hold information sessions for adults and youth (age 15 and up) interested in becoming Community Dialogue Facilitators. Candidates for the Corps are asked to register and attend 1 of these 2 sessions:

You can help us find great people by spreading this word – and/or joining us yourself.

Thanks for helping us build our Corps strength!
