Milwaukee has a rich tradition of reverance for the commonwealth. The Milwaukee and Wisconsin “Idea” embodied a spirit of public enterprise for civic beauty and social justice.

This spirit was alive and well at recent hearings before the County Board calling for a budget that would not eviscerate our hard won public sector services, infrastructure, and traditions.

It is hoped that this site will be a resource for the activists in the public service unions, in organizations that promote and defend our public parks and pools and provide needed services for all of God’s Milwaukee children.
