And a report on the initial outcome of the Growing Networks project, from Dr. Ajith Thomas John.
I wish to update you on the activities at St.Albert’s after the International Internship here at Albert’s.

i) Post Graduate student project intitiated on a new Aquaponics design.
ii) Project highly successful with 108 Cherry Tomatoes harvested from 1.5sqft area in a period of four months.
iii) The project presented as a paper at the International Symposium on po”Greening Fisheries - Towards green technologies in fisheries” at Kochi, Kerala and recieved the Best Paper Award (Check out the abstract which was released in the Book of Abstracts)).
iv) Degree student project continuing for the second year in succession on the Demonstration Unit set up in June 2012 by UW-M students.
v) The Degree Project, of 2012 has been compiled as a paper and published in “Fishing Chimes” a National Journal on Fisheries in their September 2013 Edition.

I am in the process of submitting a Major Research Project to the UGC on Aquaponics.
