Invitation to Be Founding Brainstormer of Project
Chaordic Connections Among Oganic/Urban/Schoolyard Farmer/Gardener/Agrarians
Chaordic means to me the harmonious blending of order and chaos. Chaordic processes seem apt concept for most of my personal and public life. Including this vision of an on-going conversation among “urban agrarians” from every continent to advance the cause of organic, urban, and schoolyard agriculture.
Shall we have some on-line conversations with one another and our interested partners in this cause regarding…
- the name of this evidently first international yahoo group on urban agriculture
- some kind of “constitution”
- the moderating team for the group
I’m sure there are other issues to consider besides these.
What say?

Bridie Godsil Googling Urban Agriculture Web Sites for Great Lakes Invitations
As part of her sales and communications work for a restoration firm with an urban agriculture demo project, Bridie has signed on to do invitation work for this project. She is able to upload about 50 web sits per hour that pertain to urban agriculture, organic farming, edible schoolyards, community gardens, and the like.
Then she, and perhaps other helpers, will cull the public names and e-mail addresses of executive directors, board members, staff people, of these orrgnization, and invite them to join this experiment. She will track her time so others who wish to do outreach work for this and related causes can have an idea of costs. Perhaps some student interns or semi-retired boomers might show up and further develop this outreach strategy.
